Great family business, good food for everyone at a fair price. If you have children it is always difficult to find something everyone likes. They have so much on the menu, you’d have a hard time not finding something for them! The food is consistently good no matter what you order and the staff is very friendly! Great place right in the middle of Yorktown!
The hostess is always friendly. The sushi has always been fresh and tasty. I have brought this food to my co-workers in the City, many of them used to high end sushi. They LOVE the rolls from Hirame. When I call an order in, I call it in 15 minutes before I am going to arrive and it’s always ready. Update:I still come here, and now my kids are totally in love with their food as well. Whitney even makes them a special lo mein, and she suggests specific sushi rolls for my kids, and they try them AND LIKE THE SUSHI. Love this place.

Excellent food & atmosphere
I've been eating at Hirame for years, this review is long overdue. Unassuming on the outside and when you enter but have no fear this family owned restaurant will win you over. Whitney will probably greet, seat and wait on you, as others said she is super friendly makes you feel welcome. She recognizes us and remembers our favorites, or is quick to make a reccomendation. The sushi is the best in upper Westchester, always fresh and consistently great. Udon bowls are also excellent. If you like sushi, Hirame is highly reccomended.
Amazing place with not just great sushi they have Chinese food that is to die for!! I love going to this place with my families at least once a month! I personally love the Alaskan roll, BMW roll and the salmon! It’s absolutely fantastic!! And the gyoza is great and the chicken lomain is just to die for!!!
Best Japanese restaurant in Yorktown! Never seen such a fat shrimp tempura and fresh salmon this far from ocean :) servicing staffs are very friendly and the owner is on sight to make sure everything is right. Came with no expectation but came out with satisfied customer! Definitely a repeat custome!
We love this place! It's fabulous for little children as they have a small play area and they're very accommodating. We've also been happy with using Hirame sushi for large platters of sushi rolls for parties. Their food is consistently great.
